The weather here is miserable. It's cold (like 11 degrees Celsius indoors). And it rains a lot. And it's all about three times worse when you're scootering.
This cartoon made me think of the mental games we play with ourselves to believe the weather isn't so bad.

We had what I consider to be our first major snowfall - about 5 inches here. Went out and shoveled the stuff - more correctly I used the snowblower to clear our walk and driveway as well as two of the neighbors. The Chinese family across the street had a lady out there shoveling alone - she reminded me of Grandma so I HAD to go over to snow throw their walk...she seemed very appreciative.
